My background in the housing industry started in college. I put myself through school working as a union trained framing carpenter in the summers. After college, I continued to work as a carpenter for a couple of years. Then in 1991, I made the move to Chicago and decided to start selling them, instead of building them.
My primary focus and marketplace are the diverse neighborhoods of the city, but I have also helped many families make the move to several of the surrounding suburbs, from as far north as Lake Forest and everything in between and out towards the western suburbs to Geneva.
Small multi-family properties is also a focus of mine. I currently own and manage several rental properties. I find that investment property ownership to be a very stable, and financially rewarding investment over time.
Because of my construction knowledge, I have helped many of my clients navigate the ins and outs of rehabbing the home that they have purchased.
